Kendrick Nunn?

The Miami “Heat” lost their last preseason game tonight to the Sichuan “Rockets” 144-133. Miami finishes the preseason 4-1. But...How do they find these guys?...The story of this game was Kendrick Nunn who I didn’t even know who that was, who scored 40 points whilst being guarded by James Harden.  Neither Kendrick nor The Beard did much guarding of each other. James actually came out on top 44-40 but he’s The Beard! Kendrick Nunn is—who the hell is Kendrick Nunn. Some kid who played for Illinoise, got booted off the team, transferred to “Oakland,” in California I guess where he finished his college career; went undrafted by the NBA, began his pro career with the Santa Cruz “Warriors” of the G-League. Ah, the G-League, formerly the D-League. Now, then and always where the Miami “Heat” go to find Hassan Whiteside, et al. 40 points in a preseason game, no, I’m sorry, preseason, no season, you’re playing in the NBA preseason matched opposite James Harden, that’ll make people forget Tyler Herro, Dion Waiters and a bunch of other folks, that is a frigging unbelievable performance by Kendrick Nunn.
