Losin' track of the "Heat." Glad they lost the losin'.

Miami beat Excremento (now 15-28) 118-113. Took OT to do it.

The 5 p.m. local start meant the Kings didn't have time for a traditional on-court shootaround Monday morning. Instead, they put tape down on the floor of a ballroom in their hotel and discussed concepts there.

Uh boy. That's a real home court advantage. Guess that's how Adam wants it. It's a shame. Disgrace, really. But it has always been thus. Pat Riley did that with the Showtime "Lakers" once (and it contributed to Riles losing the team).

Miami is a league best 19-1 at home and matched last year's total home wins.

The game was close throughout. SAC +3 after one; +2 HT; even after three.

Special K had a special game, game-high 25, 7/17 (3/9), 7 'bounds, 6 assists, but 6 TO's--still a +11. JJ had a tremendous game, his best since being reinstated: 22, 9/11 (4/5)--Look at JJ 4/5 from range!, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks.

Luke Walton is "Royals" coach. Miami now 30-13.
