"You can increase your risk of getting it (coronavirus) by wearing a mask if you are not a health care provider," Adams said during an interview on Fox & Friends on March 2. The CDC said on its website as of last month [March or probably February] that it "does not recommend that people who are well wear a face mask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including Covid-19."
