Deja vu.

Last month Russian-speaking Ukrainians in Crimea began protesting, waving the Rooski flag and taking over buildings. Rus invaded, referendum, Voila! Crimea annexed.

Today, Russian-speaking protesters in Donetsk and Luhansk protested, took over a government building, topped it with the Russian flag and suggested there be a referendum in their region, eastern Ukraine, to sound the people on their loyalties.

Russian troops, 30,000-40,000, on the eastern border stand ready to leap through their window of opportunity.
