Hey. The Secretary of State for India addressed his non-appearance at the Marche Republicaine on Sunday. Said John Curry:
"This is sort of quibbling a little bit in the sense that our assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland was there and marched, our ambassador was there and marched, many people from the embassy were there and marched."
Victoria Nuland is not unknown to us, nor to Europeans. She was the "diplomat" whose phone the Rooskis bugged when she was heard interfering in Ukraine. Nuland was told the European Union wanted someone else for president (of Ukraine). Replied Nuland:
"Fuck the EU."
So yeah, John-John's right, it's mere quibbling. Nuland was the perfect representative of the U.S.
