If you are on Public Occurrences now there is a very high probability that your world looks much like the image above.

It is dark in all of the United States, in Britain and throughout Europe, and it is cold. And Public Occurrences has become a very Northern Hemisphere, Western Hemisphere blog I was going to write that as a "North West blog" but I wasn't sure that was proper usage so I googled "North West" and I got Kim Kardashian's kid so I didn't.

In pageviews by country China is sixth "all-time," i.e. since July 2009, but I haven't written much on China in a long while and China is not among the top ten countries this month, this week, or today. China was the big outlier, for a while it was third, but aside from the Philippines I don't remember any other Asian I hope that is proper usage and when I google it I hope I don't find "Asian" to be another Kardashian kid country ever being in the all-time top ten. And never a Southern Hemisphere country (unless you count Australia which I don't),  never any of the African, South American or Caribbean countries, in the top ten all-time.

I admit that Kardashian distracted me a bit there and I am remembering if I had something else...Oh yes...Today, Switzerland paid a visit, there is now a Czech Public Occurrences, Slovenia recently replaced the Philippines in the top ten--It all reinforces how "white" Public Occurrences has become; more than a cardinal direction or hemisphere, or even a language, we're just very white. And right now cold and dark.
