This does not feel right to me. At this time the clear consensus, not unanimous, but the clear consensus of opinion is that this is Islam-inspired. But an exclusively gay bar was targeted exclusively, i.e. Mateen did not go someplace in addition, like the Muslims did in Paris. No, those motives are not mutually exclusive but when has Islam attacked only gay people?
