[I began this post with the angle that James will not "be like Mike" because he does not have the will to be the greatest ever, that mystifying disappearing act of his. James is just not as good a player, that is what those stats show, he doesn't have Jordan's will either, but more fundamentally, he is just not as good. There is no reasonable case to be made for LeBron James as the greatest basketball player of all time over Michael Jordan. Case closed.]
