The most points Georgia allowed in a game before today was seventeen. Alabama scored twenty-four in the second quarter. It would take the top three scoring teams on Georgia this year to exceed (and just by two points) what Alabama laid on the "Bulldogs" today. The "Crimson Tide" made a mockery of UGA's ferocious defense. Alabama wins the SEC and wins the Heisman Trophy for Bryce Young. Young was 26/44, good for 421 yards and three passing touchdowns. He also ran for 40 yards and a TD. Stetson Bennett threw three TD's for Georgia but two interceptions, one of them a pick-six. Georgia just had no answer for Bryce Young, none. Unbelievable. Pitt-Wake Forest and Iowa-Michigan in five minutes.
