That is a Times lede but an Associated Press story so I read the story to make sure there were no Quasi liberties being taken. There were not. The story is consonant with the lede. La-la Times, your lede and your story were irresponsible, dangerous for the reasons I mentioned. That Comey quote was from July, it was following some FBI arrests, that is yellow journalism, but then, the term was created to apply to the Los Angeles Times, was it not?
