Islam keys in on symbolic dates: the numerology of 9-1-1 was the reason September 11, 2001 was chosen; 9/11/12, anniversary significance; pagan superstition for Friday the 13th and, of course, coming up in America is Black Friday. An early Islamic terrorist organization was named Black September. American Thanksgiving this Thursday, the 27th, would be a delicious target date for them and this year the Prophet's birthday is December 24 (for reasons known only to Islam, the date is different each year), the day before Christmas.
