Strong @continetti: The question: "What did you do to stop Donald Trump?" John Kasich (and others) have no answer. http://freebeacon.com/politics/what-does-john-kasich-think-hes-doing/
That is the question. We will regret, and eternally, not having an answer for our children and grandchildren to that question. It is like, "Daddy, what did you do in the war?" It is a question of civic responsibility but it is way more than "getting involved in your community," it is a question of conscience, of morality.
The baby boomers, my generation, have not been confronted with-given the opportunity to confront to phrase it positively-as many public occurrences of moral gravity as our fathers', the so-called "Greatest Generation," had. We have not been tested with existential war nor with American apartheid. This is a test. This is a time people will remember and an issue over which people will be naming names.
