California Parole Board Recommends Parole for Leslie Van Houten

Man, I don't understand the Golden State. I have read some articles in the L.A. Times before and they seem...bubble-headed to me, so, like, stereotypiCal.

So this article, on Van Houten, starts off saying she was only 19 at the time and has long been considered the least culpable of the Manson Family. Okay.

She didn't participate in the Tate murders, didn't even go along. Okay, good.

Then a couple of paragraphs down the article says Van Houten did go to the LaBianca house. Not okay. They're called the Tate-LaBianca murders, know what I mean? But she was just there right? Didn't do any of the, like, killing, right?

The article says Van Houten held Rosemary LaBianca down while Tex Watson stabbed her and then when Watson got done he handed the knife to Van Houten whostabbedrosemary14times.

...Held her down for Watson...Pretty significant involvement there...And then stabbed Rosemary LaBianca her ownself 14 times. Pretty significant involvement there, too. Imo.
