Pop Icon Prince Dead at 57

Prince Rogers Nelson, latterly known simply as Prince, lateral to that as the symbol above, rendered as "the artist formerly known as Prince"...and then I think he went back to Prince, died today at age 57 of "flu-like symptoms," NOI pending autopsy tomorrow.

Prince was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to African-American parents. He was not, as believed by many (here!) bi- or multi-racial as is Donald Trump, by a Roma out of a Mexican Chihuahua head covering from the home flooring department of Wal-Mart.

Prince was known as a musical innovator, the "Minneapolis sound," (It really was distinctive, you would not mistake a Prince release for that by anybody else) and dynamic stage performer. His sometimes sexually provocative songs ("Do Me Baby," "Soft and Wet," "Pussy Control" (I don't get that last)) earned him controversy, censure (Tipper Gore), censor, and money. His most popular songs were "Purple Rain," "Little Red Corvette," "777-9311," "When Doves Cry," and "Raspberry Beret." I personally wish to propose dedication of  "I Hate U" to Donald Trump.

R.I.P. Prince.
