Well I'll be a sumbitch. Erik the Tinkerer has been temporarily retired. Back is Erik the Great.

Two straight wins for Miami. In Detroit Monday 120-115, not a Miami "Heat" score but the game went into OT, Pilgrim. It was 105-105 after regulation, a more "Heat"-like score.Without Hassan too who sat out with a sore knee. In his place, not in his place but stepping up big time was Josh Richadson who was game high with 27 points. And on 11/21, 3/5 shooting, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and only one TO. Consummate game for JRich. Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin dominated inside for Detroit and its hard to see a Pitsonians loss from Drummonds 25 points 24 rebounds, 11 of those offensive, and Griffins 34 points 15 rebounds. Dragic had a good game, 21 points but on 7/18 shooting, gotta make at least two more shots there, and 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Kelly Olynuk was bad, 13 points on 3/10, 3/9. 7 boards,. 6 assists. I dont know Miami won that game but they did. Next.

Tonight the Heat beat San Antone in the Magic City. 95-88 was the final. THAT is a Miami Heat" score.  Hassan was the star. He led the team in everything: in points with 29, in boards with 20 including 6 offensive, he got his first two assists in league play in this game and blocked 9 shots. They fed the Man in the Middle tonight. Hassan had 18 shots and made 10 of them and was 9/11 from the line. JRich reverted to undrafted, D-League JRich: 14 points on 6/22, 2/6. San Antone made exactly one-third from the field, putrid but a respectful 40% from range. Miami didn't do much better 38.7 and 31.3. Hard to see a certain “Heat” win in those stats too but win it they did. Two straight now for the "Heat".
