#1 Tackle Football Scholar Takes His Talents to Oregon

There's a story here.

The PAC-12 Media Company teeters on irrelevance. But Chip Kelly now leads Westwood One and Miami-born Mario Cristobal is head man at Nike. Cristobal was an assistant at Miami Gardens U, became the head man at Florida International where he took his charges to a bowl game and got sacked by ASSHOLE Pete Garcia, humbled down to Alabama to be an assistant under Nick Satan and thence to the Emerald city where he went 8-4 in his first year with a game left against Michigan State in the "Redbox Bowl" and had the sixth-rated 2019 recruiting class before yesterday, which brings us around to the main story here.

Kayvon Thibodeaux is the #1 rated prep player in the nation out of California. Obviously recruited by the best Pigskin Departments in the land: Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Pitt, etc. There is more to young Kayvon however than blocking and tackling and in this department he reminds of another prodigal, LeBron James, for Kayvon Thibodeaux is socially aware. On his visit to Tuscaloosa Kayvon took time to visit the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham an hour away. Four young black girls were murdered by a bomber of the Ku Klux Klan (my brother the klansman was not involved) in 1963. In Tallahassee he went to HBCU Florida A&M and visited FSU's African-American archives. Kayvon explained: "I know these schools have a great [football] program, but I feel like more student-athletes should go check out the history. There's a lot of history in the football world and college world, so every time I'm going to a place where I have an opportunity to learn some history, I like to." He "likes to." Check out the "history." Kayvon Thibodeaux is a gem, an emerald now, in life. He is going to be a leader in life.
