Kentucky is really dominating Florida. On FU's last series UK stuffed them on 4th and 1 from the UK 38. Kentucky just converted a third and eight from about the same place and are now on Florida's side of the field. UK has 22 first downs to FU's 11; has 326 yards to FU's 216 but the game is still very much in reach for the "Alligators." They head to the 4Q, UK with a 4th and 1 at the FU 38. Do you go for it? I'd be tempted if I were UK, cuz we dominatin' 'em. But if I miss it FU's got a shortish field. If I punt and my blasted punted kicks it into the endzone I'd take away the kids scholarship. Man. Do I trust that kid? Do I trust my offense to gemme one? I think I'd kick it. Let's see what they did. They went for it! FU said FU and now have the ball 2nd and 2 at the Florida 46. Oh Boy!
9:25 pm:
Incomplete scores: #12 Texas leads Rice 28-0, 4:30 before HT. Has anybody ever asked the question, why does Rice play Texas?
#5 Oklahoma 27 Winless Chip Kelly-Coached UCLA 7 in Los Angle-eese. 4:11 till half. Friends and relatives in the Rose Bowl for this one unless a whole bunch of Okies made the trek which I bet they did don't know but I bet. BAD day for the PAC 12.
Florida State! Half Ass U! Willie Taggart Finishing School! The "Semi-Holes" lead the #25 "Hokies" (not the Okies, that's Oklahoma, the "Hokies") in Blacksburg 14-10 at the half.
Numero Uno Clemson are up 17-6 on the "Orangemen" (gotta do something about that nickname) in Syracuse. This is the first football sellout in the Carrier Dome in like twenty years.
Ohh Boy! The Kentucky "Wildcats" are up on the #9 Florida "Alligators" 21-10 with five and a half left in the 3Q in Deliverance.
Did I say 27? Pardon moi. Oklahoma 34-7 over the Uclans.
7:35 pm:
The PAC 12 did take a hit and traveled for the pleasure of it. BYU beat #24 USC 30-27 in overtime in Utah and Stanford outscored UCF 20-7 in the second half but came up way short, 45-27 in Orlando.
South Florida got woke against South Carolina State since we last checked in. Charlie Strong's "Bulls" are bullying the "Bulldogs" 17-3 at halftime.
#2 Bama drained the "Cocks" 47-23 in South-Carolina-Must-Be-Destroyed.
6:30 pm:
SC State 3 USF 0, 7:15 1Q. SCS drove from their 20 and had a first and goal and that the “Bulls” 4 yard line when they stalled and settled for the 3. So far the stats in this game are 4 first downs for SCS, 0 for USF, 70 yards for SCS, -12 for USF.
6:16 pm:
Oh my goodness. Lower division South Carolina State just kicked off to South Florida to start the game. These were USF’s plays:
USF got the ball back when the SCS receiver fumbled. On USF’s second series they went three and out while losing a yard. Charlie Strong’s world is falling apart.

Some innteresting partial scores. Stanford is playing at #17 Central Florida right now. For some reason. That is an academic standing mismatch of gargantuan proportions. You don't see that very often. Like schools play like schools. And the more elite school doesn't usually travel cross country to engage. But the "Trees" did. It's also a mis-match on the gridiron in the other direction. At the end of the FIRST QUARTER UCF leads Stanford 28-7.
#24 USC is also traveling today. They're in Provo, Utah to play BYU. They're losing 17-10 with 6' left before halftime.
Those are two bad looks for the PAC12. The Stanford thing is just awful for the league.
Iowa leads Iowa State 3-0 in a game delayed by Hurricane Humberto.
3:59 pm:
Temple beat #21 Maryland 20-17. Maryland was averaging like 60 points a game. That is an embarrassing loss for them. Great win for the Bowels.
The 'Eers got one today. WVU rolled North Carolina State 44-27 in Couch Burn. First loss for NC State.
Jesus Christ, I didn't even see: Friday night #20 Wershington State beat WVU's former coach Dana Holgorsen's Houston "Cougars" 31-24 in Cow Town. The Fighting Mack Browns went to a Wake in Raleigh and the Deacon buried them 24-18. And Kansas! Forlorn Kansas went to Beans and beat the stuffing out of the "Pigeons," 48-24. Terrible results for the ACC. Pitt loses to a B1G team; UNC loses, Kansas humiliates Boston College, and NC State loses big to a winless Big 12 team. Whelp.
