I'm making a TV documentary about Chinese history for the UK's Channel [deleted ].
In a section about the Cultural Revolution, I'd like to tell the story of what happened to Bian Zhongyun.

It amazes me that after all these years I still get contacted about China occasionally. Nothing I have ever done in my entire life generated as much interest as this.
