The all-important Cases seven-day trend line gets less pronounced as downward as time goes on. The end table lengthens and clearly rises slightly. The 19.6k cases recorded by the Post so far today is greater than the 19.4k total cases on June 2 which was greater than the 16.2k on June 1. On A to F grading I'd give that line a B trending toward a B-
The Deaths seven-day line warrants an A. There have been 988 Deaths June 3 so far, slightly less than the 1,051 on all of June 2. The May 27-May 31 five day line table dipped to a low dipped on June 1 when 489 total Deaths were recorded by WaPo. That was the lowest daily total since March 27, a thrilling milestone. But the seven day average rose distinctly on June 2 when more than double the deaths, 1,051, occurred, and that new higher seven-day average line has leveled today. I look at the two immediately preceding structures, those of May 19-25 and May 27-June 1, which are very similar looking and the latter lower than the former and I can see the start of a similar structure June 2 and 3 and yet a lower level. Whether that comes to pass will be seen but those Deaths structures seem to be a template. I would expect Deaths on June 4 to be lower than those on June 3.
