A secondary or tertiary reason (primary: skill, emotional appeals) that EVERYTHING they do touches me almost every time to tears is that they are Republicans, and this is so hard. They left home and job to do this and they don’t have a new home home and job. I know something about that. They knew that when they started this and they know it still. There is no going back. They did this because it was the right thing to do and let the personal consequences accrue. And I know something about that. And I’m getting teary again.
