Through 10/15:
65k+ new cases in one day yesterday. Then seven-day average Oct. 9-15 54k, the highest 7-day average since Aug.7. We're back where were two months and eight days ago. Yesterday's daily total the highest most since July 31. We've lost two and one-half months. Particularly steep rise, about a 70% angle or so would you say, over the last ten days of dailies. The Times' Cases 14-day average is up 25%.
Deaths over the last 14 are down the same paltry 2% they were yesterday. There were 793 Deaths on Oct. 15.
You can see how puny that 2% is by looking at the seven-day line since Sept. 7, a month plus 8 back. 721 seven-day average that day,701 in the seven-day period Oct. 8-15.
218,556 Killed is more than the total killed in combat by both armies combined in the Civil war; more than the total combat Killed in World War I and Vietnam combined and Trump will reach the total Killed in WWI, Vietnam and Korea combined just before or on election, my talismanic 231k that I pulled out of my ass as the the number of votes Trump and the Russians and the Disgustings could change, steal, or disappear. Giving Trump, et al that "reasonable" expected level of theft and robbery still won't win him re-election, that is, end Democracy in America. He'll probably be content with close-but-no-cigar, no? NO.
I'll bet that the total Killed has risen since this post was begun. Let's see...Yep, 218,573 at post-time, an average since the first death in the U.S. on Feb. 6 of 864 every day since.
I’m going to go to sleep with Commander in Chief in my ears. I want to feel the pain.
Good night, and thank you Demi. You have written and more, you have sung, the most moving, plaintive social protest song ever. It is an eulogistic hymn, a gospel call. It captures perfectly the grief, the defiance, the horror felt by the nation. It will define this time, and immortalize you and live forever.
