Pitt lost its third straight today. The University of Miami Gardens beat my beloved Panthers 31-19 in Miami Gardens. Head Cat Pat Narduzzi ain't gettin' it done. Recruiting, on which all else depends, has been stultifyingly mediocre under Narduzzi. Next year's recruiting class is currently ranked 50th.

#1 Clemson beat Georgia Tech 73-7 in Atlanta. Seventy-three.

Kentucky crushed the orange right out of Greg Schiano's "Volunteers" 34-7 up on ol' Rocky Top. Kentucky was 1-2 coming in and Tennessee 2-1. 

Oh my God the Liberty "Cuckold Flames" beat the Syracuse "Orangemen" 38-21 in upstate. Syracuse scored on their first possession and it was tied 14-14 in the 2Q. The Libs then ran off the next 21. Liberty must be pretty good, they're 5-0, but they play in a no-power conference, the Sansabelt or something. They had no business beating Syracuse so handily up there. 'Member what I said about Dabo Babers! Dabo best careful this season doesn't get away from him. Well, it did. The "Orangemen" are 1-4 and play at Clemson next week. That's gonna hurt.

I just watched the only two videos available on ESPN of the Liberty-Syracuse game, both Liberty scores, both long runs through immense holes right up the middle. Liberty's O-line just pushed Syracuse's two interior defenders aside. It was like the Orange Sea parting. Syracuse is in big trouble, BIG trouble.
