Delta is like a new disease entirely than a variant of an old one. It's capabilities are so distinct, its preferred hosts so different. In that CNN article from which I quoted that Baylor doctor the same doctor said his hospital is seeing infants admitted who are struggling for breath. That is completely new. In all previous COVID-19 variations, young people, forget about children much less infants, everyone under 18 to their 30's were practically untouched. Vulnerably was marked in middle age and older. The vaccines were not manufactured and are not even approved for children. That is how different Delta is. I'm tellin' ya, it is a MISTAKE to hold in-person instruction in schools this year. This is a different disease and we're fighting it with lessons learned against a different enemy. It's a MISTAKE, pediatricians and the rest are WRONG. We are going to see kids dying, babies too.
