The Shining (1980) Stanley Kubrick

Oh yeah here we go, Danny's buggy run through the hotel. I know where this scene leads, and it's nowhere good. The hotel is empty, it's fucking huge, Danny goes down hallway after hallway, the tension building second by second as we follow him with the ground level steadicam, making turn after turn as through a maze--which is deliberate by Kubrick, the swine, it foreshadows the last scene where Danny, chased by Jack, runs through the real outdoors maze. My cue for a break. I can't watch this thing in one setting, it gives me high blood pressure.
