Does America Still Work?

Comrades, last night we published a couple of posts that people clicked on and then the posts were deleted. The posts contained only the email address, publocc@gmail.com. We were not being coy or mischievous, just incompetent. After the swelling went down on my head Carmen and I attempted to publish the interviews that we conducted of Mr. Wang Jingyao in Beijing, November 2008. We attempted to do this by establishing a "link" between a Blogger post like this here and the audio file on Carmen's computer. We first attempted to do this through the "insert video" function on Blogger even though we had only an audio. Fail. We then attempted to do this through Blogger's "Link" tool. Fail. We then sought help through Blogger's help page. There was something there about saving the audio as an attachment on an email. We did that. However (and thus the posts with the email) when we attempted to link the email to a post, F---. Then, and finally, we read that this technological extravagance might be accomplished by uploading or downloading or whatever the audio to Apple's iTunes, which CCC has. There has long been some bird pump in compatibility between Apple products and all others. It is as if one is trying to mate a giraffe with a baboon. And so, fail; frigging fail. In the Beijing, November 2008 series I promised to publish those interviews, the only ones Mr. Wang had ever given to a Foreigner. I tried in 2009 and Failed and then forgot about them until the click the other night from a reader using the search term ~"wang interview murder." So I tried again and failed again. And so that's the name of that iTune.
