Back in 2003 the hottest young American soccer player was 14 year old Freddy Adu. Some of the world's top clubs were eager to sign Freddy Adu away from America's Major League Soccer and the undersigned done wrote hoping Freddy would stay in the U.S.
Freddy did not develop as the talent scouts predicted and is now playing for Jagodina. Which the undersigned, like, doesn't even know what that is.
