Ohh, Joan Rivers died today. 81 years old. American comedienne. 81, but it was not her time. She had minor elective surgery at a damn clinic for godssake, not even a hospital, went into cardiac arrest and had to be taken to a real hospital. That was about a week ago. Today she died. Damn it. I had little exposure to Joan Rivers until the last couple of years. Her fashion critic show was one of my girlfriend's favorites, I would watch some of it with Carmen sometimes and it was cute. I liked the interaction between Ms. Rivers and her guests, they clearly got a kick out of her, Carmen got a kick out of her, and I like what makes Carmen happy, so I liked it.
