Add Democrats to the list of people President Obama does not get along with. I don't understand it.

The president's trade bill, the Trans-Pacific Partnership has come under criticism, almost entirely from the Left, since he revealed it to (really, "sprung" it on) the full Senate. A nay vote today was either a stinging blow to the bill and the president or a "snafu," but it was no good. Forty-four of forty-five Democratic senators voted against it.

I don't know if it's a good bill or a bad bill, ask David Blatt, but I did notice that the president was sharply critical ("They're just wrong.") of Democratic opponents--I can't believe I wrote that, "Democratic opponents."--in his speech at Nike a little while ago. He criticized Senator Elizabeth Warren by name yesterday, "Elizabeth is just another politician" and then was criticized by another Democrat for referring to Warren by first name (sexist). Yeah, it has gotten personal and Obama clearly is genuinely pissed. He sent an email trying to drum up support for today's vote and wrote "This is personal for me." So, forty-four of forty-five said, "So?"

No personal relationships, positive personal relationships. Damnedest thing, that.
