Sporting News.

Everton 0, Manchester City 2.

I have always wondered if Everton fanatics secretly half-wished that Sheikh Mansour had bought them when he bought City in 2008.

Probably not. They probably like Goodison Park.

That's nice. Right in the neighborhood. Walk out the front door of your rowhouse, go see the "Blues" play Young Boys.

Happy to be in the Europa League occasionally. Sheikh Mansour really has been a great owner,
though...Jeez, the money he has spent on City, buying good players like Kun Aguero, Vinny Kompany, David Silva, Joleon Lescott...Man. Oh! And it's looking like Kevin De Bruyne will be taking his talents to the Etihad this week. Personally, I really like Sheikh Mansour, I am really glad he bought City instead of Everton or one of those other bite clubs. To each his own!

Happy too for fanatics of Glazer Industries' wholly-owned subsidiary Manchester "Buccaneers,"
who were "fantastic" yesterday in their nil-nil draw at the Raymond James Theater of Dreams with Newcastle United, another club Sheikh Mansour considered buying. And then rejected.
