It's too late for "the binding moment." Republicans who abandoned Trump in August after the conventions, after the Khans, were "principled." The Republicans who stuck with Trump and are abandoning him now are too late to be principled, they are craven. The Party of Doom has gotten themselves into this mess and if there is a God she will send the party to its doom exactly one month hence. I don't "feel their pain," I feel joy in their pain.
