Now: This does not undo the damage of the late revelation. It is not going to change any degenerate low-life's mind. It is not going to cause an undecided voter to vote for Clinton. What this will do, in fact, is give Donald Trump--Oh! Trump, if I haven't said it in a while, FUCK YOU!--it will give the admitted sex offender and his degenerate low-life supporters ONE LAST opportunity to say, "IT'S RIGGED!" "LOCK HER UP!"
When you have, now two days before the election, a headline, ANY headline that contains a candidate's name and "FBI" or "criminality" or even "clears" it just keeps the matter in the front of voters' minds.
I do NOT believe, as I said previously, that the FBI's James Comey re-started this investigation with intent to harm Hillary Clinton's chances of becoming president. But that was the effect and today's letter to the Republicans in Congress does not mitigate that negative affect. Not in the slightest. You cannot un-ring a bell, or, in this case, un-blow a dog whistle.
Nor does it change that this was a fuck up by Comey, a fuck up on which the fate of the Republic, and of the world, teeters.
