In my puzzlement over City's listless play today I did not check the rest of the scores in the League. Liverpool lost another one. Another one at home. 1-0 to Coca-Cola sipping Fulham, now chugging champagne all the way up in a tie for 16th place. It's 'Pool's sixth straight loss at Fenway. Mo Salah bird-pumped in the 45' and Fulham capitalized. "But this is Liverpool,, this is Anfield,” to quote someone I once mocked, "they've seen the best here." You mean to tell me a 45th' goal to the 16th "best" team in the Premier League is enough to take the starch out of Liverpool these days?; that Liverpool can't score a single frigging goal after that? Yes. Like Gabriel Jesus’ first minute fuckup was enough to do in City.  In this COVID-weakened season it is as if the entire Liverpool roster caught the bug. Maybe for one day given it to City, too.
