A feel-good story in London, which could use any it gets, tonight. The German, Thomas Tuchel, was appointed Chelsea manager Jan. 26 after club legend Frank Lampard was let go. Since then Chelsea are unbeaten in all competitions, 13 straight matches. Tonight they beat Atletico Madrid, the best of La Liga, and are through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Best of all are scenes like this.

That’s five different players there, folks. Sometimes a spark hits the comustible chemistry in a club and  a rare blue flame flares unexpectedly to bond a squad and its manager in real love and committment. It is, usually, once-in-a-lifetime. Thomas and his Chelsea players have it. Let it last. This is, so far, and time is running out, the best story in English sport right now, maybe in all of sport. It is wonderful to see. God bless Chelsea FC, Thomas Tuchel and his Chelsea players. Rootin’ for you Blues.
