*I have completely changed my mind on this, first posted at 5:49 pm, 6/11.
President Biden has failed as president across the board on every major issue. We are going to get wiped out in the mid-terms but I don't have an abiding conviction that on the presidency in 2024. Obviously, if Biden fails to run I haven’t the slightest idea who we might nominate. And I don’t see that there is an obvious Grand Old Phascist, including 46-1, who would win. They are so extreme now that I don’t think the country, disgruntled with, and dissipointed in, Biden as it is, yearns for the “good old days” of 46-1 or looks brightly on any of the lites. We’re not yet two years into Biden’s first term. The world can change in a snap. I don’t put a second half of first term rebound past Biden or contingency. So I’m in neither the “Yes” nor the “No” camp. Bleak as the present is, too early.
