I saw one tweet about this last night, with video still, but I didn't think to write about it. Now that I see so many tweets and so many stills, and understand that in this format each candidate was free to roam and stand wherever (s)he wished, this is...well, to the tweets:
That is a terrible visual. I have tried murder cases against against lawyers who are women and murder trials can be contentious things. I am 6' tall, always taller than a female opponent. As the male, you can NEVER be, or appear to be, physically, personally aggressive toward a female lawyer opponent. You will offend the jury.
The correlation to a political debate is, I trust, evident. Now with this female opponent, we have some history to learn from. Rick Lazio LOST his race for the Senate against Hillary Clinton when he came from behind his lectern and strode over to Hillary to present her some petition to sign. Lazio was much taller than Clinton and the effect of him walking over to her, as one woman memorably put it: it was every woman in a marital argument when the husband strides angrily into the kitchen.
This video still plays into Trump's history of aggression toward women. Does it not look as if violence is imminent? A mugging? Murder? That Trump is about to grab her around the neck? He appears as a STALKER.
Trump, why are you looking at her ass? Because I need a piece of ass.
Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.
Awful. It just looks terrible. And the omnipresent Trump scowl mask.
The beady eyes go with the scowl.
What exactly is Trump trying to do here while Hillary is answering a question. #debate
This picture is every woman's nightmare #debate

Why does he keep lurking behind her? #debate

"He's right behind me, isn't he?" #debates
And the Trump people got it. This was the campaifn manager's telking spin:
Kellyanne ConwayHow you know @realDonaldTrump won the debate:
1) you watched it
2) Hillary (and media) spin will be about him standing behind her #yawn
