Mike Pence campaign events just vanished from Donald Trump's website
There is something going on here. Those tweets, unintelligible to me, from that NBC reporter and now this. I also read that Trump had canceled scheduled appearances, I think in Pennsylvania, and will next be on the stump Monday. I didn't think much about it since the second debate is just tomorrow night but there have now been a few things. Trump has repeatedly said today that he is not dropping out and Pence has said he will stay on but there are these vague counter-indicstions now.
Pence is the one guy who could force Trump out, it seems to me. If he said "I'm outta here" and Trump had to look for another running mate? Under these circumstances? Then, I think there'd be a wuick attempt at an "intervention" by Party of Doom officials and if they couldn't convince Trump, then I think there'd be a quick strategy session with lawyers and they'd try to force Trump to go.
