Things have been going a little haywire in the NHL playoffs. Look:

An incredible season just cannot end this way...I honestly cannot believe this. #GoBolts

Ms Sabo is a sportscaster in Tampa. The hometown “Lightning” finished the regular season tied for the most wins ever in an NHL season. They then entered the playoffs and promptly lost the first two games they played to Columbus. At home. Gave up a 3-0 lead in game one and got straitjacketed by the “Blue Jackets” 5-1 in game two. “Bolts” were booed off the ice. They are playing game 3 in Umbus right now and what prompted Annie to tweet her disbelief at 8:24 was Umbus’ second goal. They lead Tampa 2-0 with 4’ and change left in the second period.

And then there’s Winnipeg. The “Yets” and their playoff opponents St Louis “Blows” finished with identical 99 points. Yet...Louie went to Portage and Main and won their first two games. And lead 1-0 in the second period in Mizzou.

The NBA ‘loffs are not as far along but the boo-birds migrated from Tampa to Philly last night to serenade the local 7’6”ers. The New Jersey “Nyets,” a six seed, whizzed all over the cheese steaks, 111-102. One local paper said the 7’6”ers “embarrassed themselves.”

Up North two seed Toronto lost to seven seed Orlando 104-101 to go into a 1-0 hole.

I’ll tell ya man this has been weird.

*Update.
