Man, this is an ominous start to the hurricane season. World-record heat is going to lengthen the season and strengthen the storms that do develop. It has stormed or threatened to every day (including today) since I can remember. It's like the heavens are shouting at us, "Enough!" And we've just begun! Hurricane frequency peaks in mid-September. First week in July hurricanes are about what they are in the first week in December.
