"Manchester City 8 Vietnam 1: Five things we learned from the friendly rout."-Manchester Evening News.

Vietnam? We played Vietnam? What, was Timor-Leste unavailable?

Okay, look: There are not five things to be learned in Vietnam. The Vietnam War, that is the only reason anybody knows there is a Vietnam. Okay? City is now 1-0 in Vietnam, the U.S. Army, 0-1. That's it!

City did not get ready to challenge Chelsea for the EPL title by playing Vietnam. City is not ready to challenge for the EPL title. They have played two good clubs in friendlies this off-season and got crushed in both, 4-1 to Real Madrid, 4-2 just the other day to VfB Stuttgart. Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph are not enough. Paul Pogba would have been enough, Sterling and Delph are not enough. Kevin de Bruyne, who we haven't signed, plus Sterling and Delph? Maybe. Maybe.

The blue moon is not rising.
