De Facto Policy on North Korea: More of the Same

The New York Times reported earlier this afternoon that the Trumpists spent the day considering options ranging from military strikes to acceptance of the DPRK as a nuclear state and decided to keep on keepin' on with the same old same old. "Maximum pressure and engagement" is the vacuous name. Having written just last night that it has long been my understanding that there are no good options here, I am not about to criticize continuation of a policy that at least has kept the Korean peninsula from being blown sky high for sixty years. Permission to vent? Thank you. I am so fucking sick of North Korea I could puke.
