Coup Parte Deux Day Two

In Washington, concerns mounted over the weekend... A militarized “green zone” grew downtown, as streets were blocked by concrete barricades and military vehicles, and police sirens blared frequently on Saturday. Pentagon officials said that 9,500 National Guard members from 46 states and 3 territories had arrived in Washington by Saturday, and that as many as 25,000 are expected by Wednesday.

Do you remember that Trump caravan that overwhelmed and bumped a Biden-Harris campaign bus in Texas?

There were dozens of Trump vehicles lining the shoulder of a major highway, waiting in ambush. I wondered why no police spotted that huge road hazard. The Hays County cops were notified. Long in advance. They did nothing. The cops were in on it, just as they were on 1/6. Cops support Trump in overwhelming numbers. The same trained group of ex-cops and ex-military that organized the Biden bus ambush led the coup also  And the Capitol police, like the Hays County police, let them do it.

As the Times noted "concerns mounted" and this is just Day Two. As I heard with my own ears on HAM radio, the real action is slated to occur “Sunday night into Monday.” Monday is also Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Is the Guard prepared? Are they all loyal? What about Michael Lindell’s meeting with Trump, his notes?

“Insurrection Act as a result of the attack on the...”

What if Lindell’s talking points were not retrospective to 1/6 but prospective to tonight, MLK Day, Tuesday?

“Martial law if necessary.”

"If necessary": That is clearly prospective. In other words, what if the talking points were the plan for this week?

Maggie Haberman wrote pooh-poohing such notions, dismissing Lindell and his scribbles. It was a “short”, “contentious” meeting. Maggie also didn’t see a contentious 1/6 coming. Hours after the meeting Lindell seemed to think it had gone just fine:

"Keep the faith everyone! We will have our president Donald Trump 4 more years!"

That's future-oriented!

Why would so many of top Trump officials be gathering at the White House on a Saturday morning, as soon as schedules could be arranged, the fifth-to-last day of Trump’s reign? Concerns are mounting.
