It didn't matter that we received almost three weeks notice because we didn't know there was a Fifth Column at work. We were still so obviously outmanned that even an Idiot Blogger predicted pretty accurately for an Idiot that "There is going to be violence" and how it would play out. We are more prepared this time, we may not be outmanned at all, at least not at once, not with 20,000 National Guard troops on the ground, or soon to be. We are still going to be outgunned, though. The Guards have brought their own weapons, they're going to have something, but not nearly the firepower of the fascists. Will there be checkpoints? Will the sixteen groups be admitted into the city? Those plans, the keys, were still "could" earlier this afternoon.
'Today I am briefing my government that we believe with a reasonable level of certainty that Donald Trump attempted a coup'
"I can't believe this happened."
It has been five years of disbelief. The first caucuses and primaries had not yet been held. Still, you had to notice the crowds Trump got. I did. CNN did. Five years of disbelief that he would get the Republican nomination, would lie and steal his way to Russian-aided victory-- it will be five years to the day on Jan. 20 of his presidency. I can't believe any of it happened.
