Joel Embiid is feeling the brotherly hate in Philthydelphia. Have I ever mentioned that I hate Philadelphia, hate the place. H-A-T-E.
Philly fans booed Embiid the other night, for his instagram post and Jimmy's reply, but Philly fans boo everything and everybody, Dick Allen, Jimmy Butler, they even booed Santa Claus one time. They're just miserable being stuck in Philadephia. Anyway, you're in excellent company Joel.
Is Embiid coming to Miami? Jimmy's reply post was widely taken as a "recruitment" effort. Apparently he and Joel were tight with the "Sixers." Antoine Walker urged Joel's agent to demand a trade to the "Heat." A trade? Well, the "Sixers" did trade Jimmy to us, but how are you going to work a trade now? What "assets" do we have? Jimmy's the big one and somehow...I don't think that's happenin'. Bam I guess. Philly got J-Rich in the Butler trade. Gonna take more than Bam though. We have no draft picks till like 2120. Philly needs shooters. Well, we got them! Bam and, say, two of Kendrick, Tyler and Duncan? That'd get it done, I do believe. Do we "Heat" fans want that? We've all fallen in love with the little three. We gonna lose two of 'em? I think those "assets" would get it done and if that gets it done...Damn, and until this year we couldn't shoot shit; had J-Rich and J-Wins breaking windows in the AAA. We'd need another shooter if we traded two of the three we got...Well, this is the thing:
Joel Embiid, 7'0", 25 y.o., averaging 24 pts, 11.5 boards, 3.2 assists, 1.8 blocks in his four year careeeerrr! FUCK. Plus he's one of us, a "Heat" type of guy, a hard-working villain--Jimmy vouches for him. Okay, I'm in. Would the "Heat" do that trade? They couldn't until the summer. Rumor has it the trade window closed. Every move the "Heat" has made this year has been with an eye to the summer of 2021, the Summer of Giannis. Would they suddenly detour for Joel? Effs and Ees, the Miami "Heat" can do anything. Somebody, not an idiot blogger but one of the cognos, said...Oh! It was even better than a cogno, it was Barry Jackson summary quoting one of "Heat" management, that the "Heat" are confident that they can get any player they want if the player wants to come to Miami, i.e. salary cap, draft pick constraints be damned, they will get it done. So that means we're going to have a new Big Three come the 2021/22 season, Jimmy, Joel, and Giannis. Plus Kendrick or Tyler or Duncan plus whomever. Ooh, they gonna be hatin' on the "Heat" again! And we're gonna be lovin' it.
