Idea

In 1964 the Johnson campaign produced an ad consisting of average American voters reading into the camera things that Barry Goldwater said. The looks on their faces as they heard come out of their mouths what came out of his was, it was very effective. I would like to see the Biden campaign do that.

A variant on that idea would be to have Trump supporters do it. That may be better for 2020 since everybody knows what Trump has said and tweeted. But I don't think that will change Trump supporters' minds. Most everybody it seems to me has made up their minds about Trump. There is nothing that he can say or do that will cleave his supporters from him. Having his words come out of their mouths probably will not change their minds either. Trump is going to get about the same percentage of the vote as he did in 2016. That was a losing percentage. And if  53,667, or 77,754, or 80,000 votes had been cast differently or cast the same but in different states we would not have suffered the Catastrophe. It therefore becomes important to isolate Trump voters and nothing isolates them more effectively than their own words.

A third variant therefore is to just let them talk. Let's say three for a 30 second spot. Pull a Borat: Pose as a Trump supporter and go to a cross burning. Pull one aside (It's important to do this one-on-one.) "What would you say to a friend to get him or her to vote for Trump?" Man, the things that are gonna come out of their mouths. They're going to be humiliated, isolated. No one is going to want to associate with them or their ideas.
