It didn't last. Fucking Johnnies. The Ex-Quasi's published that the Johnnies update in real time. That cannot possibly be true. When I got up this morning at about 7:30 there was the exact same number of cases as when I posted at 12:30 a.m. I refreshed, same; I closed out the window and got on the site anew: same; the deaths were up like eight. Something was wrong. But the Johnnies update in real time so it couldn't be that they went out partying Saturday night. I shut down the computer and restarted it. Same numbers. I then just let the computer alone for awhile. I gave them five hours to update their fucking numbers. That's when, at 12:32 I decided I had to post them: only 3,792 new cases in half a day. Big News! I had thought of my headline at the end of the night: "DOWN GOES COVID! DOWN GOES COVID!" But no. Of course not. When I went back to it a few minutes ago there were 1,482,916 total cases. What was it at 12:30 a.m.? 1,467,916. Uh...That's gonna be more than 7,288, no? Calculator: 15,092. That's goddamn over 11,000 in 4 1/2 hours. That's bullshit Johns Hopkins. Neither of those numbers was accurate. You could not have been reporting in real time and go 12 hours tallying 3,792 new cases and then get 11,000+ in 4 1/2 hours! IMpossible. FUCK!
